Didnt stay at hotel but dined 3 times over 4 days here, excellent food, everything well prepared with attention to flavor and quality.
Amazing!!! Spent over a week here— amazing food just downstairs. Pool, rooftop area, little kitchen areas in the rooms. Smart TVS— couldn’t ask for a better place to be. Would recommend to anyone wanting a place away from the craziness— super beautiful!!
This place is wonderful. Felipe and his family are wonderful hosts. The road fro Los Barilles was recently repaved, so although still a winding mountain road, the driving surface is fine. The hotel is literally at the end of the road- from there it is rutted out beach roads along the coast to the north and south. Very quiet. 5 minute walk to the beach which has good snorkeling and swimming and you have italmost all to yourself. Very reasonable prices. Felipe threw in free breakfasts, also free appetizers on a couple meals. Very clean. The room we had was exactly as depicted on website. Great view watching sunrise from our patio. Only minor complaint is wifi was a little spotty in our room. Overall wonderful experience.
A wonderful family run operation with charming helpful people at your service. Updated Feb 2021.. It is necessary to downgrade this place because of poor restaurant - we locals share complaints about food quality and service so I went from five to three stars. I am very willing and actually hopeful to upgrade if there's improvement but right now, unfortunately, it is what it is. Updated July 2021..Food preparation greatly improved...best omelette I've had in a while..and comfortable surroundings. So my rating is back to 5 stars!
If you want a quiet getaway in the Baja of 50 years ago this is the place. Comfortable rooms...quiet...and the restaurant serves great food at bargain prices. I wish I had booked longer Super friendly service
This small hotel is family owned, and the people could not possibly be any more friendly and accommodating! Very clean rooms, at a very reasonable price! Walk to the beach and a great pizza place around the corner
Nice place out in the sticks of the Baja. Definitely not Cabo San Lucas. Hotel beds were nicer than I thought they would be and the WiFi worked decent. Room was decent size. Manager/owner was real helpful. Authentic family run hotel would stay again. Safe area as well.
Hopefully we will stay here at some point. We had a group booking with 5 rooms, gave our Visa etc. then the day before arriving we found out we don’t have a reservation and the hotel double booked the rooms. Somehow we got bumped, very unfortunate…. FOLLOW UP, 2 years later and we finally got a reservation and it all worked out great, loved it.
